Ok, so how exactly does a $600,000 Porsche supercar qualify as a green car? We think it really comes down to the fact that Porsche is willing to invest in this technology. By demonstrating that this technology can be produced and used in a supercar, it is all the more reason to see the development and use of similar driveline assemblies in more traditional vehicles. Porsche AG announced on July 28, 2010 that it will begin production on the 918 Spyder. Besides, the car looks amazing and has an estimated fuel consumption of 94 mpg.
