We recently highlighted the Nature’s Garden Delivered home delivery service in our Green Business Profiles section. We were excited to try out this new company, as it was launched here in Atlanta, Georgia. We believe in supporting local small businesses, and even more excited to support eco-entrepreneurs as well.
Our first exposure to Nature’s Garden Delivered was through the Groupon website. Nature’s Garden Delivered was offering a special discount to the group purchase website and had received over 1000 interested customers. We decided to give the service a try and were happy to receive our first box of produce.
Each week we receive a box filled with fresh produce, about half of which is locally sourced. While we can’t say that the produce in the box is fresher or in better condition than that of the big natural food markets, we can say that the free home delivery, prompt service, and user-friendly website make it a pleasurable shopping experience. Overall we enjoy the convenience of having a box of fresh produce delivered to our door each week without the added trip to the grocery store.
